AL Solutions are currently partnering with an exciting small start-up Biomedical organisation based in Spain who are looking to build a new in house statistics team. My client currently outsources all statistical activities to CRO’s, but are now looking to change their business model and bring all of these activities in house. As a result, this position will be for the first Biostatistician within the organisation and the correct candidate will be tasked with the long term growth and development of this division.
This position can be worked from home anywhere around Europe, however some travel to the office in Bilbao would be ideal.
Plan and execute high quality statistical analysis of large data sets, cleaning, analyzing and interpreting collected data to meet business requirements.
Analyze results for clinical trial experiments and contribute to the Clinical Science Reports (CSR)
Investigate on new methods for image analysis.
Support developers to produce pipelines with more relevant bio-markers
Be familiar with Good Clinical Practice, compliance and regulatory environment
Extensive experience in Biostatistics
Experience in SAS, R or STATA programming
BSc or higher in relevant subject (Biostatistics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Data Mining, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
Fluency in data analysis and communication about data, including time series analysis, campaign analysis and data visualisation.
Experience on clinical trials analyses together with CRO collaborations will be a plus.
Knowledge of medical imaging processing tools and algorithms (highly valued)
